PROJECT RESEARCH SCIENTIST -1
Applications are invited for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (NonMedical) for the ICMR, Govt. of India funded project titled “Identifying and exploring the key deubiquitinase enzyme that facilitates the generation of matured insulin producing β-cells from human iPSCs” at Manipal Institute of Regenerative Medicine (MIRM), MAHE, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
Qualification:
Ph.D. in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Life Science. or First-class Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Microbiology, Biochemistry or Life Science with the relevant subjects from a recognized University with a minimum of two years of research experience in the field of Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Bioengineering relevant to the project objectives. Having experience in ShRNA/SiRNA library screening, Chromatin immunoprecipitation, and proteomics is desirable.
Duration: Initially for one year. Extendable on performance/need basis.
Remuneration: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 76,720 (including HRA) per month.
