Recruitment of student interns for a period of two months

One seat of a Student Intern is available in the Division of Genetics in SERB-DST-funded projects for a period of two months only. Interested students with essential /desired educational qualifications may kindly send their application to [email protected].

Name of the Project: SERB-DST Funded project entitled “ Fine mapping of leaf and stripe rust resistance gene introgressed from T. Turgidum var. cv. Trinakria to wheat ”.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The internships are only for duration of two months
    and will end after completion of two months from the date of joining.
  2. The internship is just for two months. No any other claim will be made by the student.
  3. The interested students are requested to send their duly signed application (on the given format) along with their certificates/Mark sheets strictly through email only at [email protected] on or before 29th June 2023. No hard copy will be entertained.
  4. Shortlisted students will be called for an online interview on 3 July, 2023 (10:00A.M onwards).
  5. Once selected the student has to provide No Objection Certificate from their present institute to be able to attend the Lab activities for a period of two months.
  6. The selected student has to make their own arrangements for attending day-to-day activities at designated Labs at IARI. No TA, DA will be provided for the same.
  7. Concealing off facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.

Essential Qualification: Students pursuing a Master’s in Life Sciences/ Agriculture with specialization in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Biotechnology with 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and graduate levels.

Desirable: Experience in molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills.

Emoluments (Fixed per month): Rs. 5000
