General Terms & Conditions –
- The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
- No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
- Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.
- Apart from sending application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise and list of publications.

Educational Qualifications –
Research Associate: Ph.D in Biotechnology/Biophysics/Biochemistry/Life Sciences or any other related field.
Senior Research Fellow (Project): M.Sc in any area of Life Sciences with two years of research experience. The incumbent should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’.
Job Description: Experience in Molecular Biology, recombinant DNA, protein chemistry, cell culture techniques. Candidates with experience in malaria research, mass spectrometry and live cell and confocal microscopy, FACS are also encouraged to apply.
Emoluments – The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules, depending upon qualification & experience (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019)
- Research Associate: Rs. 47,000/- to 54,000/-per month plus 24% HRA
- Senior Research Fellow (Project): Rs. 35,000/- per month plus 24% HRA

I have cultured various cell lines, including primary cells and immortalized cell lines, to study cellular responses to different stimuli. For instance, I cultured human epithelial cells to investigate the effect of specific signaling pathways on cell division and proliferation.
- Question: Can you share your experience with National Level Examinations and how they have contributed to your research career? Answer: I have successfully qualified for National Level Examinations such as CSIR-UGC NET, DBT-JRF, or similar exams. These exams have not only provided me with a competitive edge but have also expanded my knowledge in life sciences. They have helped me stay updated with the latest developments in the field and have opened doors to various research opportunities.
- Question: What publications or scientific contributions have you made in your field of expertise? Answer: During my research career, I have contributed to scientific publications in reputable journals. Some of my notable publications include studies on protein-protein interactions in signaling pathways and the functional characterization of novel genes involved in cellular processes.
