Junior Research Fellow
The research Fellow position is available to work in a research project at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. The project is funded by Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) under the “MK BHAN YOUNG RESEARCHER Fellowship”

Job Description – To carry out functional and structural characterization of Plasmodium falciparum proteins
Tenure – Up to March 2025. Personnel hired will be initially appointed for 1 year, if found suitable his/her appointment will be extended till the end of the project.

Essential Qualification of Applicants:
- Master’s degree in any area of Life sciences/Biotechnology
- Able to handle bacterial culture, molecular cloning in bacteria
- Knowledge of protein expression and purification in a bacterial system
Desirable Qualification of Applicants:
- Understanding of Plasmodial culture
- Candidate with a NET or GATE qualification
