Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the post of Project Associate-I in the DST-sponsored research project granted to the undersigned.
Title and Objectives of the project: Enterocins and enterocin-derived peptides as anticancer agents. The project investigates the anticancer properties of naturally-produced and recombinant enterocin. In silico methods will be used to improve the physicochemical properties of the enterocins and optimize the receptor-ligand binding through molecular modelling.
Emolument: ₹ 31,000/- p.m. for 1st year. Emolument shall be applicable only if the candidate meets education qualification and eligibility criteria as per DST OM dated 31.04.2019.
Qualifications:
- Masters of Science in Microbiology or any other relevant area of Life Sciences with min 55% marks. Candidate must have qualified NET/GATE or any other National level examination.
- Project-relevant training may be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum age is 28 years (Age relaxable for 5 years in case of SC/ST/Women
and physically handicapped candidates).
Tenure: Initially till 1st August 2023 and is extendable for 2 more years on yearly basis as per the norms of DST.
