Tata Medical Center, Kolkata (TMCK) and the Cell & Gene Therapy Division of Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. have come together in an Academic industry collaborative project (called Clarion) to bring cutting-edge Cellular Therapies to cancer patients. The National Biopharma Mission and Department of Biotechnology have funded key aspects of the project to enable the delivery of CAR-T Cell Therapy to patients with refractory and relapsed Hematological cancers.
In this regard infrastructure, civil, clinical, laboratory and research are being set up at TMCK and are in various phases of execution.

Qualification and Experience –
PhD degree with required technical skills includes cell culture (hands-on experience with culture of mammalian cells, both suspension and adherent, transfection, transduction) and analytical methods like flow cytometry, ELISA, and qPCR.
Core Competencies –
At least 2 years of work experience in the areas of cellular therapy development is desirable. A candidate with additional hands-on training experience on CliniMACS Prodigy/Cocoon platform will be given preference.
