How to Apply –
- Applications are to be filled ONLINE. The online link for submission of the application is available from 06-10-2021 and the last date is 25-10-2021 at 05:00 pm. Candidates must fill online application form at www.niab.org.in. Candidates are advised to fill the online application form in sufficient time before the last date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
- Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email and interviewed online by the duly constituted selection committee. Original documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience certificates are required to be submitted at the time of joining.
- No need to send a hard copy. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
For Post I
Eligibility for Research Associate-II – PhD in any field of Life Sciences (incl. Veterinary
Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.) or MD/MS/MDS and at least one
years’ research experience, OR MVSc/MPharm/ME/MTech and at least 4 years’ research
experience.
Desirable experience – PCR, RT-PCR, Protein expression and purification, Serological assay development and/or validation, Serosurvey.
Fellowship amount – Rs. 49,000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.
For Post II
Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow – Post-graduate Degree in Basic Science (MSc) OR
Graduate/Post-graduate Degree in Professional Course (BVSc, MVSc, MBBS, MS, MDS,
ME, MTech) with NET qualification or selected through national level examinations
conducted by the Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER et.), and to years of
research experience in the relevant area.
Eligibility for Project Associate-II – Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences /
MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology or Medicine from a recognised
University or equivalent, and 2 years experience in Research and Development in industrial
or academic institutions or science and technology organisations and scientific activities and services
Desirable Experience – PCR, RT-PCR, Protein expression and purification, Serological assay development and/or validation, Serosurvey.
Fellowship amount – Candidates with NET or Post Graduate degree in the professional course will be paid Rs. 35,000/-PM+24% HRA. Non-NET candidates can also apply but will be paid Rs. 28,000/-PM+24% HRA.
For Post II
Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow – Post-graduate Degree in Basic Science (MSc) OR
Graduate/Post-graduate Degree in Professional Course (BVSc, MVSc, MBBS, MS, MDS,
ME, MTech) with NET qualification or selected through national level examinations
conducted by the Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER et.)
Eligibility for Project Associate-I – Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences /
MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology or Medicine from a recognised
University or equivalent.
