Project Title: “Evaluation of LRRK2 11371V mutation on cellular pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease using patient specific induced pluripotent stem cells of Indian ethnicity”

Maximum age limit: 28 years
Period of the post: Two years. The initial appointment will be made for six months, extendable subject to the performance of the candidate

- M.Sc. degree in the field of biophysics/ biochemistry with a good academic record. Two years of hands-on research experience after the Master degree is mandatory.
Desirable: Experience in cell culture, molecular biology and biochemistry will be required.
Nature of Work: The project covers extensively in vitro Parkinson’s disease model using patient-specific iPSCs, live-cell imaging electrophysiology (MEA).
Emoluments: Rs.35,000 plus 24 percent HRA per month
