Temporary SRF positions available at ICGEB, New Delhi for COVID19 testing

During the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, the autonomous institution ICGEB, New Delhi has
engaged with the local government authorities to help with COVID19 RTPCR testing in Delhi. As of now ICGEB, ND has already tested more than 45000 COVID19 samples using RTPCR. To continue with this novel cause of science helping the society under need, we plan to hire two Senior Research Fellows with the following eligibility and conditions:

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

No. of Posts: 02

Period: This is short-term temporary project recruitment (3 months) and is currently being offered beginning August 2021, exclusively for working on COVID19 testing. The appointment could be extended for an additional limited duration depending on the prevailing circumstances.

Remuneration: SRFs with the NET qualification will be eligible for a salary of 35000p.m. with applicable HRA.

Qualification:

• Masters (MSc) or equivalent in any branch of life sciences
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in molecular biology including RNA handling, RTPCR and data analysis.
