Name of the Project: “In situ application of a Microbial Peroxide producing cell for oxidative depolymerisation of lignin and its subsequent valorisation”.
Principal Investigator: Dr Pratima Gupta
Duration of the project: 3 years. Originally the appointment for JRF is one year.
A broad area of Research: Microbial electrochemical Technology

Note: Chosen candidate will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program at the National Institute of Technology, Raipur (Rules of a PhD program for NITRR are applicable).
Emoluments (Rs.): 31,000 + HRA (as per institute standards) each month for first two years and 35,000 + HRA (according to institute norms) monthly for the third year.
Qualification: Applicants must hold a 1st Class M.Tech/ M.Sc/ MS/ME/ in Biotechnology engineering or equivalent. Preference will certainly be given to applicants with GATE/NET qualification.
