Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project Title: “Designing and validating an algorithm to determine etiological agents associated with acute encephalitis syndrome in pediatric patients”

Duration of the Post: Initial appointment will certainly be for 6 months which will be extendable depending on the satisfactory performance of the applicant.

Maximum Age Limit: Up to 28 years for General Category. Age relaxation of up to 5 years (up to 33 years) for SC/ST/Differently abled/women applicants as well as 3 years (up to 31 years) to get OBC (Non-creamy coating).

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Microbiology/Virology/ Biotechnology
with at least 60% marks.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Prior experience of working in the area of Infectious diseases
2. Applicants with experience in performing serological assays like ELISA and also molecular tests (Real-time PCR).
3. Experience in flow cytometry.

Emoluments: Rs.31,000/- pm consolidated.
