Name of Position: Project Associate-II (PA-II)

Name of the Project: “Short-Term Research Fellowship”
Upper age limit: 35 years.
Duration: The position is completely on a temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based on the performance of the candidate and discretion of the Competent Authority.
How to Apply:
The Fellowship amount for the position will certainly be given at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post relying on the qualifications and also experience of the applicant. Reservation of post shall be based on Govt. of India norms. The appointment might be terminated whenever by giving one-month notification by either side. The applicants will certainly have no claim explicit for consideration against

Essential Qualification: Applicants having M. Sc./ M. Technology. degree (with minimal 60% marks) in Life Sciences/Agriculture/Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics or any other related field with at the very least two years post-M. Sc./ M.Tech. research experience is eligible for interview. Candidate with prior research work experience in plant breeding, genomics, molecular breeding as well as field phenotyping will certainly be liked.
