Job Purpose:
Apply chemical engineering principles towards process and also product development in the lab. Generate engineering data for supporting scale-up activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform experiments towards reaction optimization, crystallization, distillation, filtration, drying, evaporation, as well as scale down experiments to support data towards manufacturing campaigns.
- Generate technical reports for ongoing process development projects and also operations in the lab.
- To utilize PAT tools (React IR, FBRM, PVM) for experimentation.
- Execution of experiments and also data generation in the laboratory according to design and planning.
- Prepare process engineering documents and also reports.
- Help team lead in collating process engineering info across developmental projects.
- Attending client TC as well as responding to the queries appropriately.
- Executing several activities as well as manage priorities.
- Coordination with numerous cross-functional teams for smooth execution of experiments/projects.
- Support lab manager to keep up good conditions of lab equipment’s’ and fume hoods, participate in procurement activities.
- Have the knowledge and also exposure to the environment, health, as well as safety (EHS) practices.
- Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace guaranteeing individual and also lab/plant safety.
- Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company.
Educational Qualification: M.Tech- Biochemical Engineering/Biotechnology/Chemical engineering.
Technical/functional Abilities:
- Experience in working in a laboratory environment.
- Experience in setting up experiments and generate engineering data, chemical as well as physical data.
- Understanding/orientation towards quality, safety, Data integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Experience: 6 months to 3 years of post-qualification.
Behavioural Skills:
- Must have the capability to work in a team and the capability to handle demonstrate a great team spirit.
- While possessing a great capability to follow instruction ought to likewise demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, excellent communication skills.
- Needs to be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
