Summer Training Programme in Environmental Biotechnology
(June 13 – 28, 2019)

The Summer Training Programme in Environmental Biotechnology is Just Two weeks long hands-on training course offered by the ICMR-National Institute for Research in Environmental Health (ICMR-NIREH), Bhopal. Participants of the programme will have the delight of working at a distinctive academic ambience apt for cutting edge scientific discourse. In this programme, higher emphasis will be put on the basic wet-lab tools and techniques pertinent to environmental biotechnology.

Course Content: Basic techniques pertaining to cell biology, molecular immunology, genetics and epigenetics shall be covered.

5) Real Time PCR
6) Methylation Specific PCR
7) mt-DNA Mutation Analysis
8) Micro-RNA Profiling

10) SDS-PAGE & Western Blot Analysis
11) Flow Cytometry
12) FACS-Cell Signaling Assays

15) Histone Methylation Array
16) Primary Cell Culture

Qualifications: Students pursuing post-graduate courses in biological sciences, pharmaceutical sciences and medical sciences are invited to apply.

Seats: Just 20 students will be admitted to the course.

Application Procedure: Application in the prescribed format available at ICMR-NIREH website must reach us via email at [email protected] before or on 15 May 2019.

Selection: Procedure for screening and selection will be based upon academic credentials only. The list of selected candidates will be posted at the institute’s site on 21 May 2019.

Fees: A Registration fee for this course is Rs. 5000/= only.

No lodging/boarding shall be offered and the participants will need to make their own arrangements for the same.
