PUBLIC HEALTH INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME IInd BATCH
Application are invited for Public Health Internship programme conducted by Department of health services , Kerala. with a vision to improve community Health and to enable the scholars in attaining valuable knowledge in health service research and Health promotion analysis. The programme is designed as a short term one which is well structured and . supervised by the expertise in Department. The first batch will commence on 01/02/2018. The duration and eligibility are detailed below .
Duration of Internship:
Internship will be of minimum sixty working days duration. The maximum duration of the internship will be decided on the basis of the intern’s and the team’s requirement to which the intern is assigned.
Eligibility:
Students who are currently enrolled for bachelor or masters degree in the following subjects or have completed the program less than 12 months back as on the date of application from a recognized university are eligible to apply. Professionals who have the desire
to work in the field of public health is also eligible. The applications and resume will be scrutinized and final selection will be based on an interview at the directorate of health services.- Medicine

- Nursing
- Hospital Administration
- Business Administration
- Technology
- Zoology
- Environment and water – management Nutrition/Home science/dietetics Communication
- Social Science/work
- Family and Community Science
- Bio informatics
- Community /Family Science
- Child Development and Behavior Science Statistics
Subjects other than the above will be at the discretion of the director of health services based on the interest of the student

Filled up applications,. & resume should reach this office through e mail [email protected] on or before 10/01/2018. The internship programme is unpaid, and the scholar have to submit the report of project work assigned to them and they will be awarded by certificate by Department of Health Services.
