Job Description
Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities(Describe in bullet points, the duties and tasks of this position)
- Develop, optimize and execute assay platforms for the NCE screening in our drug discovery programs
- Plan experiments, order reagents, set up assay platforms and deliver them in a timely fashion
- Regular data analysis, critically analyze and interpret data and effectively document
- Literature survey, participate in project team meetings and contribute to the project intellectually
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned, including working group inventory management or ordering or regulatory record-keeping
Qualification & Experience:
Master’s degree in any life sciences with 2+ years of experience in drug discovery in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology setting or in a contract research organization.
Skills:
- Broad experience in assay development/technologies: Experience must in a wide array of technical methods including but not limited to biochemical, enzyme characterization, mechanism of action studies, cell-based assays, western blot analysis, ELISA, HTRF, FACS analysis of primary cells etc
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture, isolation and culturing of primary cells.
