Student Training Programme
CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR, is a multidisciplinary institute having research areas like Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Materials Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Geological Sciences, etc.
This institute is equipped with sophisticated state-of-art analytical and other equipment to carry out research activities in frontier areas of science & technology. Applications are invited for training in the Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility.
After completion of the training, the students will be provided a Training Completion Certificate. Details are as follows:

Eligibility: Candidates pursuing M.Sc. in Bio-informatics or Biosciences are eligible
Duration: Six Months
Stipend: Rs. 8000 per month
Post-Code: 02
Name of the post: Traineeship
No. of posts: Two (02)
Èligibility: Students who have completed M.Sc. in Bio-informatics, Biotechnology or Molecular Biology
Duration: Six Months
Stipend: Rs. 8000 per month
Age Limit: 25 years as on the date of interview (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules)
How to apply:
- Interested candidates have to attend a walk-in interview.
- Candidates are requested to bring with them all original testimonials including mark sheets, certificates and a photograph failing which which there candidature will not be considered.
