Bioinformatics Summer Internship 2024 With Hands-On-Training + Project / Dissertation - 30 Days, 3 Months & 6 Months Duration

Short Term Training on Immunology and Bioinformatics @ IIAR, Gandhinagar

Located on the banks of river Sabarmati, Gujarat, the land of Mahatma Gandhi, Institute of Advanced Research is a University established under the “Gujarat Private Universities Amendment Act 2011” with an aim to create Excellence in Research and Education. The University has been set up by “The Puri Foundation for Education in India” a Registered Charitable Trust.

The institute offers short-term training/dissertation for M. Sc. in any Bio-sciences discipline.

The training is offered in Immunology lab as well as Bioinformatics lab. The training scope in the immunology lab will be in the following areas but not limited to:

  • Animal cell line handling
  • PCR
  • Western blot
  • ELISA
  • Immunofluorescence etc.

The training scope will be in bioinformatics will be in the following areas but not limited to:

  • Bioinformatics analysis
  • Docking and virtual screening
  • Molecular Dynamics simulation
  • Cloning, expression and purification of proteins
  • Biophysical and Biochemical characterization of proteins
  • Crystallization and Structural Studies.
