Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (JNKVV), Jabalpur was established in 1964, as the biggest multi-campus university, with an approach to narrow down the gap between the experts and farmers, through Joint Indo-American Team on Agricultural Research and Education in 1954-55 and 1959-60 on the patterns of Land Grant Colleges of USA. In subsequent years, the University had to part with its area of jurisdiction due to creation of sister universities- Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) at Raipur in 1987, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Gwalior in 2008 and Nanaji Deshmukh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur in 2009.
Contractual posts for RA and SRF is required under different sub project of “Maximization of Soyabean Production in Madhya Pradesh” under JICA Project. Details are as follows:

- M.Sc. in Agriculture Biotechnology or Biotechnology OR Master’s Degree in the Agriculture Biotechnology with first division or 60% marks in four or five years Bachelor’s
Degree OR - Master’s Degree in the Biotechnology with first division or 60% marks in three years Bachelor’s Degree
- Should have NET Qualification
Desirable Qualification:
- Computer knowledge especially of Spread Sheet and Excel for data management &
Power Point for presentations.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25000 + 10% HRA
Age Limit:
Below 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates as on 31st July 2016
Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST and OBC candidates will be applied as per MP/GOI rules

- Ph.D in Agriculture Biotechnology OR
- Master’s Degree in the Agriculture Biotechnology having first division or 60% marks in four year Bachelors Degree with two years of research experience on molecular marker study for crop improvements
Desirable Qualification:
- Two year experience in relevant field along with knowledge of computer operation.
Pay Scale:
For Ph.D candidates, Rs. 40,000 +10% HRA
For M.Sc. candidates, Rs. 38,000 + 10% HRA
Age Limit:
Below 40 years for male and 45 years for female candidates as 31st July 2016.
