Notification for Ph.D. Entrance Test @ DAV University
DAV University at Jalandhar traces its roots to the legacy that has been reforming and redefining India’s educational scenario for 130 years. The university is the culmination of the movement that started with the founding of the first DAV institute to propagate the ideals of the religious and social reformer Swami Dayanand Saraswati in Lahore on June 1, 1886. Now, the DAV movement has grown to become the single largest non-governmental educational society in the country managing 780 institutions and shaping the careers of youth in India.
DAV University, Jalandhar invites applications for Entrance Test for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Program for the following disciplines for the session 2016, to be held on April 10, 2016:
Faculty of Sciences: Biotechnology, Chemistry
NOTE:
- Please refer to the DAVU Rules and Procedures for Ph.D. Program 2016 for detailed guidelines on DAV University Website: www.davuniversity.org
- Candidates who have already passed NET/SLET/GATE/JRF/M.Phil degree [obtained through regular course work and not through distance education mode] will be exempted from entrance test.
- No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidate for appearing in the Entrance Test.
How to Apply:
- The candidates interested in the above courses are requested to fill up the Ph.D. Entrance Test Registration Form available on the DAV University website.
- Download and submit the filled up application form along with self attested copies of mark sheets (Matric onwards), passport size photograph and a demand draft for Rs.1000/- (one thousand) in favour of Registrar, DAV University, payable at Jalandhar.
- Submit the application latest by 2nd April, 2016 to:
