Technology Assistant/Associate position in Biologics characterization facility (BCF) at Bangalore Life Science Cluster, Bangalore
Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), is a Dept. of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) initiative and a not for profit organisation, that also forms an important part of the Bangalore Life Science Cluster. We are acting as an enabler of bioscience research and entrepreneurship by providing research, development, training and service in state of the art technology platforms. BCF facility is looking for a Technology Assistant/Associate for characterization of Biologics/biosimilars using LC-MS/MS system.
Desirable: Candidates should have hands on experience in mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) based proteomics (sample preparation, acquisition and interpretation of data and quantitative proteomics), biophysical characterization of proteins using various analytical techniques. Knowledge in the field of glycomics, glycoproteomics and carbohydrate chemistry is preferable.
Essential: Candidates should have sound knowledge on protein chemistry and biophysics, proteomics, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. He/she should have good interpersonal and communication skills and willing to work as a team.
Qualifications: We are seeking for highly motivated candidates in the field of proteomics/glycoproteomics. Applicants should have M.Sc/M. Tech (with 2-3 years working experience) in any discipline of analytical chemistry/Chemistry/life sciences.

Duties: Writing SOP, sample preparation for
biologics characterization (peptide mapping, glycosylation analysis etc.,), LC-MS data acquisition and interpretation, maintenance and handling of LC and MS instruments, complex carbohydrate analysis, report generation and archival of data.
