This position supports Safety Operations within the Global Patient Safety team. The role involves processing and analyzing adverse event reports, ensuring timely data entry, medical coding, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Process adverse event reports from multiple sources and determine seriousness, expectedness, and causality.
- Ensure accurate data entry in the Pharmacovigilance Safety System and select the correct suspect drug.
- Write clear, concise narratives for case safety reports.
- Perform medical coding using standardized dictionaries such as MedDRA.
- Conduct case investigations and follow-ups with clinical reporters and affiliates.
- Support quality control, case clean-up, and aggregate report preparation.

Qualifications and Skills
