Job Description
- Supporting the selection of central and regional laboratories for clinical studies
- Providing support/consultancy on lab-related issues
- Participating in technical assessment of laboratories
- Coordinating the contracting of clinical laboratories
- Performing study-specific remote set up of clinical laboratories
- Preparing laboratory-related clinical study documentation
- Coordinating the transfer of samples between laboratories
- Participating in routine calls with contracted labs
- Conducting initiation and monitoring visits to laboratories
- Delivering training in laboratory procedures
- Investigating and resolving issues with laboratories and study sites
- Developing and implementing quality control documents
Qualifications
- University or college degree in Life Sciences preferred
- College degree or PhD in Microbiology is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical laboratory setting or related field
- Prior clinical research industry experience is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
