The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore, is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. iBRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation.
To develop strengths in focused areas, research at iBRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory. iBRIC-inStem invites applications (online) from eligible candidates for the contractual position of the following scientific positions. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively, and are excellent team players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Job Description | – This position is available in the lab of Dr. Bhavana Muralidharan, who studies brain development in health and disease. – The ideal candidate should be proficient in working with mouse brains, mammalian and stem cell culture, and molecular biology techniques like cloning and transfection. – Additional skills include confocal/fluorescent microscopy. – Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a demonstrated record of scientific productivity are required. – The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is essential. |
Tenure: Contractual appointment for 11 months, renewable based on the review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
