Department of Science and Technology has released the notification for the fellowship in Women Scientist Scheme. All of the details regarding the revision have been tabulated. Check it out below:

Subject: Revision of fellowship in Women Scientist Scheme -provision for House Rent Allowance.
The Department of Science and Technology has revised the fellowships of Women Scientist Scheme under KIRAN as mentioned below:

*The HRA has been included in fellowships (WOS-A & WOS-B) based on latest OM of DST No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018
2. The revised norms become effective from 01 April 2019. However, for WOS-C programme it is effective for 11th batch starting from 2019-20.
3. The grantee institutions are advised to pay the arrears, on account of revision, if any, to the Principal Investigators (Pl).
4. Other terms & conditions remain unchanged.
5. This issue with the approval of AS&FA, DST, vide Dy.No. 23836 dated 02.07.2019.
