- Project Title: “Development of soybean yellow mottle mosaic virus based gene expression and silencing vector for functional genomics studies in legumes”
- Emoluments: Rs. 42000/- per month (consolidated)
Essential Qualifications
- Essential: Master’s degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Plant Pathology/any relevant discipline of life sciences
- Desirable: Experience in basic molecular techniques (nucleic acid isolation, PCR, plasmid isolation, restriction, ligation, molecular cloning), and recombinant vector development, dsRNA. Bioinformatics (Transcriptomics and Proteomics) and scientific writing; as evident from publications

Terms and Conditions
- Age limit: Maximum age of 45 years for YP-II as on the date of interview (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women and other exempted categories as per GOI guidelines).
- Contractual post, co-terminus with project
- Reporting time for the walk-in interview will be till 10.30 am and no candidates will be entertained after that.
- The candidates will have to compulsorily fill in the application form (as per the format annexed).
- Attach copies of certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/LS/GATE
- Equivalent certificate, degree certificates, and a recent photograph enclosed on the scan application form. Enclose the proof of experience, NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (if employed), and publications.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining, if selected.
- The final results of the interview will be hosted on the institute’s website 10 days after the interview, so no phone calls will be entertained before that.
