Job Overview:
Medical Writer Jobs at Syneos Health focus on clinical trial transparency and regulatory medical writing. These Life Science Jobs involve supporting disclosure activities, clinical registry submissions, protocol and report development, and regulatory documentation across multiple therapeutic areas. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline with relevant medical writing experience; graduate degree preferred.
Experience: 1 to 3 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile, write, and edit medical writing deliverables with minimal supervision
- Support clinical trial disclosure and registry submissions (CT.gov, CTIS, EUDRACT)
- Develop clinical study protocols, amendments, reports, patient narratives, and investigator brochures
- Review statistical analysis plans and tables, figures, and listings
- Serve as peer reviewer and address internal review comments
- Ensure compliance with ICH-E3 guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory standards
- Perform clinical literature searches as required
- Mentor junior medical writers when needed
Skills Required:
- Experience in clinical trial transparency and disclosure
- Strong understanding of FDA, ICH, and global regulatory guidelines
- Proficiency in medical writing standards and AMA Manual of Style
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
- Strong project management and time management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and medical documentation tools
