- Job Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Project Title: “Exploiting the potential of microbial metabolites of marine origin for inhibitory activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.”
- PI: Dr. Nitin Pal Kalia
- Monthly Fellowship:₹46,990 (₹37,000 + 27% HRA).
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
- Location: NIPER Hyderabad.
Research Scope & Desirable Expertise
The project aims to harness marine microbial biodiversity to combat multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.
- Core Research: Screening microbial metabolites for inhibitory activity against M. tuberculosis.
- Preferred Skills: Candidates with prior experience in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and In vitro assay development will be given preference.
- Advanced Experience: Knowledge of in vivo experimentation is highly desirable for this role.
