Job Details
- Project Title: Identification and Characterization of Genes Regulating Seed Number per Pod in Pigeonpea.
- Post: YP-II
- No. of Post: One
- Funding Agency: Indian Council of Agricultural Research
- Duration of the Tenure: One year from the date of appointment or till the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
- Emoluments Fixed per month (Rs.): Rs. 42000/- (consolidated)
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or Life Sciences (preferably in Plant Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or related subjects)
Desirable Qualifications:
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, with experience in handling multi-omics data, cloning, and transformation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct molecular biology experiments
- Assist in gene identification and characterization studies
- Handle multi-omics data related to plant biotechnology research
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques
- Experience in multi-omics data handling
- Knowledge of cloning and transformation methods

- Report at the venue at least 60 minutes before interview time
General Terms and Conditions:
- No TA/DA would be given for appearing in the interview.
- The positions are purely temporary, on a contractual basis, and initially offered for one year or till the project duration, whichever is earlier.
