Essential & Desirable Profile
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Science from a recognized university.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of research experience in Neuroscience and seizure data analysis.
- Technical Expertise:
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in exosome isolation and characterization.
- Proficiency in rodent handling, animal surgery, and electrode implantation.
- Expertise in animal Electroencephalography (EEG), behavior, and seizure analysis.
- Familiarity with animal models of epilepsy.
- Publications: Must have at least one publication in an international peer-reviewed journal as a first or co-author in a project-related field.
Job Description
- Conducting experimental procedures for the DBT-funded study on epilepsy models.
- Managing intranasal administration protocols for Dental Pulp Stem Cell exosomes.
- Performing intricate animal surgeries, specifically focusing on electrode implantation for neurological monitoring.
- Executing animal EEG recordings and interpreting complex seizure data and behavioral metrics.
- Compiling research findings for publication and presenting progress reports to the project PI.
