Job Overview:
The Local Case Intake Advisor supports pharmacovigilance operations by managing adverse event intake, safety data processing, complaint identification, and regulatory communications. The role ensures data integrity, compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices, and audit readiness across local and global safety activities.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, or related discipline
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and track Adverse Events and Individual Case Safety Reports
- Review and assess safety data from clinical and post-marketing sources
- Identify Product Quality and Product Security complaints
- Support regulatory authority queries and internal collaborations
- Implement CAPA activities and process late logs
- Perform pharmacovigilance data reconciliation and quality checks
- Conduct manual patient follow-ups using approved resources
- Maintain audit-ready safety documentation and archiving practices
- Support audits, inspections, and ongoing safety trainings
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance and patient safety workflows
- Knowledge of GVP, GxP, and regulatory safety frameworks
- Experience with safety databases (Argus, Veeva Vault Safety – desirable)
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and reconciliation skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail with a quality-driven mindset
- Ability to work US shift hours and manage priorities independently
