Chemistry, or related fields.
Salary: 25% hike on the previous CTC, and it will be based on the experience
Job Summary
We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented R&D Executive/Scientist to support the
development of nutraceutical products, perform scientific research, and manage
formulation activities from concept to commercialization. The role requires strong
formulation expertise, extraction knowledge, literature research skills, and experience in
scale-up and technology transfer.
Key Responsibilities
Formulation Development
- Develop and formulate new nutraceutical products, dietary supplements, and health-
focused formulations. - Work on multiple dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, powders, syrups, gummies,
liquids, and blends. - Optimize formulations for efficacy, stability, taste, and cost-effectiveness.
Research, Literature Review & Ingredient Evaluation
- Conduct detailed literature research on nutraceutical ingredients, bio-actives, extraction
methods, and functional benefits. - Evaluate ingredients, raw materials, and ingredients for suitability, purity, and
performance.
Extraction, Isolation & Characterization
- Perform extraction and isolation of active bio-compounds from herbal and natural
sources. - Assist in developing standardized extracts and evaluating their functional properties.
- Work with QC teams for analytical testing (HPLC, TLC, UV, etc.) of extracts and
formulations.
Pilot Trials, Stability & Documentation
- Conduct pilot trials, bench-scale studies, and experimental batches.
- Perform stability testing, sensory evaluation, and optimization studies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, trials, observations, and analytical
results.
Scale-up & Technology Transfer
- Support the scale-up of formulations from lab to pilot and production level.
- Prepare technology transfer documents, BOMs, batch manufacturing sheets, and process
instructions. - Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth implementation on the shop floor.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with QA, QC, Production, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Ensure all formulations align with FSSAI, GMP, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Support regulatory documentation and product specifications for approval.
Preferred Attributes
- Knowledge of clinical validation, claim substantiation, and scientific writing.
- Awareness of market trends and innovations in nutraceuticals and health supplements.
- Creative, research-oriented, and passionate about developing consumer-centric health
products.
Experience: 1+ years of experience

Requirements
- Strong understanding of nutraceutical ingredients, bioactive, and formulation science.
- Hands-on experience with extraction, isolation, and lab-scale formulation.
- Ability to conduct literature reviews (PubMed, Google Scholar, patents, scientific journals).
- Good analytical skills, scientific thinking, and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple R&D projects simultaneously.
