Position Overview
The Executive / Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager (Microbiology) will be responsible for
overseeing microbiological testing, maintaining laboratory compliance, ensuring product
quality, and supporting audits and documentation in line with regulatory and company
standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage routine operations in the Microbiology Laboratory.
• Ensure compliance with current laboratory practices, SOPs, and regulatory
guidelines.
• Review, verify, and update documentation related to microbiological analysis and
raw data.
• Ensure microbiological quality standards for raw materials and finished products.
• Prepare and revise SOPs, STPs, validation protocols, and other microbiology-related
documents.
• Handle and prepare investigation reports, including Change Control, Deviation, OOS,
OOT, and CAPA.
• Follow up regularly on the release status of raw materials and finished goods.
• Prepare and maintain microbial cultures, including sub-culturing and strain
management.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily laboratory records and entries.
• Face internal and external audits and support audit readiness activities.
• Ensure laboratory hygiene, instrument qualification, and environmental monitoring
as required.
