Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree in any branch of Biology OR a professional Master’s degree (M.Tech).
- The candidate must have qualified in at least one of the following national-level scholarship/fellowship exams with more than 95% percentile (valid as of 01 January 2026): CSIR / UGC-JRF, DBT, ICMR, DST-INSPIRE, or GATE.
Fellowship:
- All selected candidates will be eligible to receive the regular JRF fellowship (Rs. 37,000/month + HRA as applicable) for the first two years, along with the standard annual contingency.
- Upon fulfilling the qualifications for registration, the fellowship will be upgraded to SRF (Rs. 42,000/month + HRA as applicable).
- Selected candidates may also avail of their own national fellowship or the TIFR fellowship.

- Closing date of online application: 12 November 2025 (end of the day)
- First round of interviews (online): 25 and 26 November 2025
- Second round of interviews (in person): 17 and 18 December 2025
- Joining date: 5 January 2026
