Key Responsibilities
1. Wet Lab & Sequencing
- Perform essential NGS workflows such as PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and library preparation.
- Operate and maintain Illumina sequencers.
- Conduct DNA/RNA quality assessments using qPCR, agarose gels, LabChip, etc.
2. Data & Analysis
- Support sequencing data analysis for R&D, Production, and Business teams.
- Assist in custom analysis requests from end-users.
- Document all experiments and analyses per Revvity’s Design Control Processes.
3. Collaboration & Reporting
- Present data, results, and interpretations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Propose innovative ideas to improve protocols, workflows, and automation.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across projects.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, or related field.
- Solid experience in DNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, whole genome sequencing, or targeted panels.
- Hands-on NGS platform experience (Illumina preferred).
Preferred
- 2+ years in NGS pipeline development.
- Experience with Illumina sequencers and automation platforms (Sciclone, Zephyr, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming (Python, Unix, Perl, R).
- Familiarity with aseptic cell culture and single-cell technologies.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
