Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site feasibility assessments, identify potential investigators, and negotiate study budgets.
- Finalize investigators, study sites, and execute confidentiality and study-related contracts.
- Prepare and submit documentation for Ethics Committee (EC) permissions across centers.
- Oversee IP dispensing, inventory management, and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely site initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities with proper reporting.
- Train investigators and site staff on study protocols, procedures, and GCP principles.
- Manage timely participant recruitment, source data verification, and query resolution.
- Ensure accurate and timely SAE/SUSAR reporting aligned with regulations and Sun’s PV policies.
- Identify risks and implement CAPA for underperforming sites.
- Coordinate with in-house teams or CRO partners for data management, statistical analysis, and database lock (DBL).
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a health or related field such as Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Public Health. Beneficial for a clinical research associate role.
- Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Research is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in clinical research jobs or related domains.
Additional Skills
- Strong understanding of GCP practices and regulatory guidelines in clinical trials.
- Expertise in Phase III and Phase IV clinical trials.
- Proficiency in site management and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. Ideal skills for the clinical research associate job.
