Role Summary/Purpose
This role manages product compliance throughout the entire lifecycle and reports to the Team Lead, Regulatory Operations. It involves collaborating with R&D, legal, regulatory, and marketing teams to develop and review ingredient lists, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment from concept to product launch. Regulatory affairs jobs such as this require great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop/review accurate and comprehensive ingredient lists
- Monitor ingredient list status, changes, and requirements
- Support new product registration and life-cycle management
- Compile documents for submissions and registrations
- Keep track of regulatory documentation and queries
- Update and maintain product registration archives
- Assist in preparing Regulatory Standard Operating Procedures
- Work on artwork approvals and regulatory intelligence activities
Required Qualifications
- BSc degree in Life Sciences
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in regulatory affairs jobs
- Understanding of registration and regulatory requirements in Africa, Eurasian, and Asia Pacific countries
- Knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards
- Excellent computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory
- Fluency in other languages is advantageous
