BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), DBT, Govt. of India, invites eligible candidates for a Quality Manager position at its Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA) Centre. BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an Institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. The institute is an integral part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster, located in Faridabad, with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into products that improve human health.

Job Overview

• Position: Quality Manager (01 Post)
• Project Title: “Effects of extreme heat on maternal, placental and fetal physiology, lactation and newborn health in India”
• Centre: CDSA, THSTI
• Location: Gurugram Civil Hospital (GCH) & THSTI, Faridabad
• Emoluments: ₹87,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Age Limit: Up to 45 years
• Mode of Recruitment: Walk-in Written Test/Skill Test/Interview on 16 September 2025, 9:00 AM
• Eligibility Criteria
  • Essential Qualification & Experience:
    • MBBS/BDS/BVSc/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BSMS/BNYS/B.Sc. Nursing/BPT/B.Pharm with 4 years of clinical trial monitoring/site management experience
      OR
    • Graduate in Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences/Public Health with 6 years of relevant experience
      OR
    • Postgraduate/PhD in Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences/Pharmacy/Public Health with 4 years of relevant experience
• Mandatory: Valid GCP certification
• Desirable: Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in clinical research.

Life Sciences Quality Manager Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide quality management processes across clinical projects.
• Conduct site monitoring visits from initiation to closeout.
• Develop and implement SOPs, checklists, and quality monitoring plans.
• Ensure compliance with GCP guidelines, study protocols, and regulatory norms.
• Identify non-conformances and recommend CAPA measures.
• Support training of study staff on good clinical & documentation practices.
• Coordinate with project teams, data management, and laboratories for quality tracking.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and risk-based quality improvements.
• Willingness to travel frequently to study sites.

Life Sciences Quality Manager Job – Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of GCP/GLP and clinical trial regulations.
• Ability to design and execute monitoring plans and SOPs.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and team-building abilities.
• Skilled in risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and CAPA execution.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Email).
