Central Monitor Job 2025 – Position Summary
The Central Monitor II plays a vital role in safeguarding the quality and accuracy of clinical trial data through centralized monitoring, statistical review, and proactive risk management. This role involves developing and implementing Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) plans, conducting risk assessments for studies, performing ongoing data analysis, and driving issue resolution. You will also facilitate monthly RBQM meetings, mentor junior team members, and contribute to process improvements.
Central Monitor Job 2025 – Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and define mitigation strategies in collaboration with functional leads and project managers.
- Perform centralized statistical monitoring to detect anomalies, trends, and risks in clinical trial data.
- Support and document monthly RBQM meetings, review study data, and track action plans.
- Ensure data quality assurance by identifying discrepancies and coordinating timely interventions.
- Collaborate with clinical operations, data management, and biostatistics teams to drive proactive data cleaning.
- Generate detailed reports and presentations on monitoring outcomes for study teams and sponsors.
- Track operational study metrics, including data entry trends, site health, and SDV backlog, to drive early remediation.
Central Monitor Job 2025 – Qualifications
- Minimum Required
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, statistics, data management, clinical operations, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical monitoring or clinical trial management.
- Strong knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and the clinical development process.
- Proficiency in data analysis and monitoring tools.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with a strong grasp of scientific vocabulary.
- Preferred
- Experience in a CRO environment as a Central Monitor.
