Job Description
Cipla is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Team Member for the role of Internal Audits/QA/QC/Sterile/Microbiology to join its Rangpo, Sikkim facility. The role involves executing activities related to the microbiology laboratory, ensuring compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and supporting the company’s high standards of quality assurance. Key Responsibilities
- Quality Activities
- Maintain laboratory areas and equipment.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with GLP and cGMP standards.
- Environment Monitoring
- Carry out scheduled monitoring of designated areas.
- Manage release and transfer as per SOP timelines.
- Participate in aseptic process validation and simulations.
- Media and PST Management
- Maintain stock of media and pre-sterilized items.
- Issue materials as per the requirement.
- Water and MLT Analysis
- Perform water analysis as per schedule.
- Conduct MLT and pathogen continuation on time.
- Record, compile, and submit test data for review.
- Dispose of balance samples after analysis.
- Training
- Participate in scheduled training sessions.
- Complete LMS training before the due date.
- Major Challenges
- Ensure timely release of activities.
- Maintain laboratory stock and timely decontamination of materials.
- Key Interactions
- Collaborate with internal team members during daily operations and shift handovers.
- Engage with service engineers, external parties, and calibration/validation teams.
Education Qualification
Postgraduate degree in Microbiology.
Experience and Skills
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharma microbiology or quality sections.
- Strong knowledge of pharma processes, microbiology practices, and computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
