- Visionary Leadership
- Drive a bold and transparent safety vision within the affiliate and regionally.
- Champion trust-based, patient-centric pharmacovigilance systems.
- Operational Oversight
- Ensure a compliant and effective PV system that is aligned with both global and local regulations.
- Lead local PV operations and proactively mitigate compliance risks.
- Strategic Integration
- Align global safety goals with local business needs to maximize patient outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters, both internally and externally.
- Physician Engagement & Real-World Safety
- Build strong relationships with treating physicians for actionable safety insights.
- Lead post-marketing safety initiatives and local risk management strategies.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Foster seamless collaboration across Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical Ops, and Market Access.
- Elevate the affiliate’s safety culture through integration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
PhD Life Sciences Job Opportunity – Who You Are
- Education
- MD, HCP, PhD in Life Sciences, Master’s in Public Health, or Pharmaceutical Medicine (not always required but must meet local regulatory expectations).
- Experience
- Strong affiliate-level pharmacovigilance background
- Prior roles in Medical Affairs, Regulatory, or Clinical Operations are advantageous
- Experience managing regional PV teams and systems
- Key Attributes
- Strategic thinker with deep understanding of global and local PV ecosystems
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and mentoring ability
- Familiarity with safety in integrated healthcare systems and patient journeys
- Agile mindset with an ability to lead through change and complexity
