Job Overview
Rivarp Medical is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive in QC Microbiology to support the quality control function of our microbiology lab. The candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological tests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining proper lab documentation.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
• Media preparation and execution of all basic microbiological tests.
• Performing Sterility Tests for medical devices.
• Conducting LAL/Pyrogen tests for endotoxin detection.
• Performing Bioburden Testing on both finished products and raw materials.
• Fumigation processes and validation testing.
• Water System Validation and related testing.
• Microorganism Identification Tests.
• Finger Dab Tests for personnel hygiene assessment.
• Environmental Monitoring (settle plates, air sampling, surface testing).
• Maintenance of test reports for all microbiological tests performed.
• Daily monitoring and recording of Temperature, Pressure, Relative Humidity (RH), and Cleaning status of the microbiology lab.
• Conducting Swab Tests for cleanroom areas and Cleanroom Coats.
• Growth Promotion Testing (GPT) of culture media.
• Sub-culturing of microbial strains.
• Biological Indicator (BI) Testing.
• Autoclave Validation to ensure proper sterilization cycles.
• Indenting, follow-up, and testing of microbiology lab materials.
• Routine maintenance of lab equipment and instrument readiness.
• Review and preparation of SOPs (as needed) specifically for microbiological tests.
• Development of test-related documentation such as:
o Protocols
o SOPs
o Checklists
o Formats
o Test Reports
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualification
• M.Sc. in Microbiology
Experience
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a microbiology quality control environment.
Skills & Attributes
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and strong documentation practices.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to analyze requirements and define implementation steps.
• Result-oriented, capable of delivering high-quality outcomes within tight timelines.
