The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hajipur, is inviting applications for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) under an ICMR-funded project. Based in Bihar, this contractual role offers ₹56,000 + HRA and focuses on the in vitro and in vivo evaluation of liposome-encapsulated Mycobacteriophages. Project Title: In vitro and in vivo evaluation of liposome-encapsulated Mycobacteriophages D29 and TM4 as therapeutic candidates against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Id: IIRPSG-2024-01-01066)
Principal Investigator: Dr. P Ramalingam
Nature of Post: Initial appointment will be for 1 year. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Emoluments: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) – Rs. 56,000.00+10% HRA (Posted at NIPER-Hajipur)
Minimum Qualification:

First-class postgraduate OR second-class postgraduate with a PhD in Nanotechnology, Biological Therapeutics, or Biotechnology.

Desirable: Experience in nano/liposomal formulation, stability, and characterization; PhD submitted or relevant research fellow experience.
