Job: Cytogenetics Scientist II
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Job Description:
- Perform karyotyping and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) analysis
- Analyze and report cytogenetic findings accurately using ISCN Nomenclature
- Develop, validate, and implement new cytogenetic techniques
- Manage the timely processing and reporting of cytogenetic tests
- Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and relevant documents
- Utilize LIMS for sample tracking and workflow integration
- Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Manage inventory and document assay failures comprehensively
- Collaborate with teams and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Train and mentor junior technologists
