About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Analyst to lead and manage ongoing research and evaluation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in scientific literature review, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. This role requires innovative thinking and a proactive approach to solving technical and research-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of multiple research and evaluation projects.
• Perform and supervise high-quality scientific literature searches using databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Cochrane.
• Communicate research plans, methodologies, and findings clearly with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate and high-quality reports.
• Conduct quality control (QC) of curated data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Estimate timelines and scope of work for projects.
• Maintain clear and systematic documentation of tasks and workflows.
• Think creatively and strategically to propose technical solutions to research challenges.
• Collaborate with team members and report progress to the Manager.
Required Skills & Competencies
• Proven experience in conducting scientific literature reviews and data extraction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; strong team player with leadership potential.
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver work under pressure.
• Innovative thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor junior staff is an added advantage.
• Experience with technical supervision or team development is preferred.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in scientific research, literature curation, or project evaluation.
