The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. To develop strengths in focused areas, research at BRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.

BRIC-inStem invites applications (online) from eligible candidates for contractual position of following Scientific position in the laboratory of Dr. Dasaradhi Palakodeti.

We are looking for dedicated professionals who are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively and are excellent team players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualification & Experience

Essential Qualification: PhD degree in any field of Biology

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bioinformatics, with demonstrated expertise in analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, including single-cell transcriptomics.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement computational pipelines for large-scale data analysis.
  • Expert in bioinformatic analysis of high-throughput sequencing data, with specialization in single-cell transcriptomics and spatial transcriptomics platforms.
  • Proficient in developing custom code and computational pipelines for analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) datasets

Tenure: Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
