- Reports To: Technical Sales Specialist Lead
- Group/Division: Biosciences Division
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Roles & Responsibilities for Sr. Product Specialist Role:
- Achieving regional sales targets and driving portfolio performance.
- Demonstrating and showcasing the assigned product portfolio.
- Leading and developing a team of Product Specialists to align with regional goals.
- Providing second-level support to Product Specialists, addressing critical issues, and facilitating customer interactions.
- Collaborating with Sales teams to ensure alignment with regional sales numbers as Sr. Product Specialist.
- Conducting training sessions for internal teams and channel partners.
- Presenting at scientific forums, conferences, technical seminars, and product launch events.
- Planning and performing workshops, technical demos, and presales customer presentations, as well as providing post-sales support.
Education & Qualification:
- Postgraduate or Ph.D. in Life Sciences preferred for Sr. Product Specialist.
- A minimum of 5 years of techno-commercial experience in the life sciences industry with proven managerial capabilities.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven for a successful sales career.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Outstanding sales competence and a detailed understanding of the portfolio.
- Proven experience as an Application Specialist, Product Specialist, or Product Manager.
- Advanced technical knowledge in biological sciences.
