Your Role:

Join our global team at Merck Life Science as a Specialist – Quality Services! You will act as a second-level contact, providing quality and regulatory expertise to support our commercial organizations and customer-facing functions. This role involves:

Assisting and advising customers on regulatory and quality topics.

Interacting with internal teams to address inquiries and improve digital workflows.

Explaining complex topics in a clear, customer-friendly manner.

Enhancing digital solutions for efficient knowledge sharing.

What You Do: Responsibilities include assisting and advising customers on quality and regulatory topics, interacting with internal functions, explaining complex topics, and improving digital solutions and workflows.

Who You Are:

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years professional working experience in a customer service-oriented environment in Life Science, Biotechnology, or related industry.
  • Good understanding of quality & regulatory guidelines is a plus especially for pharmaceutical raw materials (e.g. Excipient & API).
  • Digital savvy in using digital tools are necessary and important in daily work.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software applications such as SFDC, SAP & Microsoft 365.
  • Act as a voice of our customers by advocating the importance to support when necessary and work with relevant stakeholders to find feasible solutions to resolve challenges faced.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative and customer centric.
  • Highly motivated, analytical and meticulous with attention to prioritize incoming tasks.
  • Highly reliable who is able to work independently and as a team player.
  • Global mindset and willing to attend global calls outside office hours (e.g. night calls).
  • APAC regional exposure experience will be an added advantage.
