Position: Business Development Executive – Global Sales
Location: Biotecnika, Bangalore (On-Site)
Experience Required: 1-3 Years in B2B Sales / IT Sales / Life Sciences Sales

Role Overview:
Biotecnika is seeking dynamic Business Development Executives (BDEs) to join our Global Sales Team at our Bangalore office. As a BDE, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential biotech, pharma, and research clients worldwide, pitching our AI & Bioinformatics CRO services, and driving revenue growth. You will collaborate with the Global Sales Manager to expand our international footprint and achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify biotech, pharma, and healthcare companies in need of bioinformatics & AI/ML solutions.
- Conduct outreach via cold emailing, LinkedIn prospecting, and platforms like Upwork.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, or Google Sheets).
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Schedule and conduct sales calls & meetings with potential global clients.
- Understand client requirements and propose customized BIO-IT, CRO, AI/ML & bioinformatics solutions.
- Work closely with the technical team to create compelling proposals and pricing strategies.
- Ensure timely follow-ups to convert leads into long-term clients.
3. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Negotiate and close business agreements with clients.
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and nurture long-term relationships.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
4. Market Research & Competitive Strategy
- Analyze competitor pricing and service offerings to refine sales strategies.
- Provide valuable insights to the marketing team for better service positioning.
- Stay updated with industry trends in bioinformatics, AI/ML, and contract research services.
5. Reporting & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Global Sales Manager to achieve sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, proposals, and deals closed.
- Participate in weekly team reviews and strategy meetings to optimize sales performance.
Qualifications & Required Skills
✅Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, ✅Business Administration (MBA), IT, or related fields. 2-3 years of experience in B2B Sales, IT Sales, or Life Sciences Sales.
✅ Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
✅ Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cold Emailing, and CRM tools.
✅ Ability to understand and sell complex scientific services.
✅ Target-driven mindset with a proven track record of closing deals.
✅ Knowledge of bioinformatics, AI/ML in biology, or pharma R&D (Preferred, not mandatory).
✅ Prior experience in selling SaaS, IT services, or research-based solutions is a plus.
