About the Position
The Content Writer – India Diagnostics role will support creation of scientific thought-driven content to support marketing and thought leadership efforts for Strand’s Diagnostics business. The content may take different forms, including but not limited to blogs, whitepapers, scientific posts on LinkedIn, articles, newsletters, and website copy. We are looking for an energetic content writer to support these content development efforts and help grow the business.
Job Requirement and Required Skills:
- Create and edit case studies, white papers, and tech notes on oncology, rare disorders, prenatal health, and consumer genetics for audiences ranging from lay consumers to experts.
- Develop website content, such as product descriptions, captions, infographics, and blogs, to ensure a strong web presence.
- Coordinate with the internal project teams to develop and validate the content.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Content teams to establish the scope, audience, and timeline for each content piece.
- Liaise between the Content and Design teams to ensure effective turnaround of publishable assets.
- Fact-check, proofread, and publish all content while adhering to a content calendar.
- Monitor and measure the impact of content by analyzing audience engagement and feedback and website reach to help optimize content development efforts.
- Proven ability to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging write-ups for different audiences.
- Resourceful, organized, and motivated to enhance sales opportunities and look for new and creative ways to expand our client portfolio.
- Strong interpersonal and project-management skills and ability to work independently.
- Great verbal and written communication skills with a good command of the English language.
- Masters/Bachelors in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
